Youth Goaltimate

Updated Nov 6, 2026

A huge part of USA Goaltimate's 3 year plan is to invest in youth. Video tutorials, cheap access to kits, camps, clinics, and partnerships with Local Disc Organizations are just some of the many ways in which we'd like to help build the next generation of goaltimate players. As we craft our final approach for 2027 and beyond we are asking the Hoop Community for as much input, knowledge, and ideas as we can get for this project. Want in? Get involved.

With a small field and few players on the field, goaltimate naturally involves all players at all levels. The goal-scoring mentality lines up with other early youth sports, which makes it a great tool for teaching disc skills.

  • Emphasizes teamwork between the four players on the field.
  • Teams can be easily interchanged to allow players to play with all of their friends.
  • So many high-five opportunities!
  • Easily played mixed and doesn't require gender-specific match-ups.
  • Fun without keeping score.

"Goaltimate has really helped me as an individual improve my quick throw and go movement on the field and confidence in my trick throws. Having more creative throws in my repertoire has been really useful in tough situations on the ultimate field." Kaia Roast, Seattle, WA, age 16 (2017)
